Overview
DossiCare is a medical document management app. The app helps users scan, organize, search, export, and sync health-related documents. Because these documents may contain sensitive health information, we design the app to limit collection, protect local storage, and keep account data scoped to the signed-in user.

Information We Collect
- Account information, such as email address, authentication identifiers, and basic profile settings.
- Medical document content you choose to scan, import, save, sync, export, share, or delete.
- Extracted document information, such as document type, dates, patient or clinician names when present in the document, medication details, lab result fields, notes, tags, and searchable text.
- Subscription and entitlement status needed to enable paid features. Payment details are handled by the app stores and RevenueCat, not directly by DossiCare.
- Technical information needed for app function, security, crash reporting, support, abuse prevention, and audit logging.
Why We Collect Information

- To provide support, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
- To maintain security logs for actions such as document creation, viewing, deletion, sharing, and account sign-in events.
Local Storage And Cloud Sync
DossiCare stores documents locally on your device using SQLite. Structured AI document data is encrypted locally with a device-protected encryption key. If you sign in and cloud sync is available, selected document records may sync to Supabase so they can be restored or accessed through your account.
Cloud records are protected by Supabase authentication, HTTPS transport, and row-level security so users can access only their own rows.
AI Extraction
When you scan or import a document, DossiCare may send the document image or extracted content to an AI service so information can be converted into structured fields. AI extraction can be wrong or incomplete. You should always verify extracted information against the original document before relying on it.
Authentication Providers
DossiCare supports email/password sign-in and may support native Google or Apple sign-in where available. These providers may process sign-in information under their own privacy policies. DossiCare uses the authentication result to create and maintain your app session.
Purchases And Subscriptions
Paid tiers may be managed through Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. DossiCare receives subscription entitlement status and related identifiers needed to enable paid features. We do not receive full payment card details from app stores.
Crash Reporting And Analytics
DossiCare may use crash reporting when configured, including Sentry, to diagnose failures and improve reliability. Crash reports may include device, app version, error, and user identifier information needed to troubleshoot issues. We do not use this information to make medical decisions.
Sharing And Exports
You control when you share or export data from DossiCare. Export files and shared documents may be handled by your device operating system, selected apps, cloud storage providers, or recipients according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain account and document data while your account is active or as needed to provide the app. Some security, audit, billing, legal, or abuse-prevention records may be retained where required or permitted by law.
Your Choices And Rights
- You can export your DossiCare data from the app settings where available.
- You can request support at support@dossicare.com.
- You can delete your account from inside the app or use the instructions on the Account Deletion page.
Children
DossiCare is not intended for use by children without appropriate parent or guardian involvement. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as the app, legal requirements, or service providers change. Material updates will be reflected by changing the effective date above.
